New designs in the works. Yes, I am insane. Why do you ask?

I've had my head buried in the computer for weeks now designing new pieces. Here's a couple of items that are almost ready for production.

Carapace Ring. I've ordered a few of these in US 6 size, but I'm still awaiting verification.

Eggsac Pendant. Haven't ordered one of these yet, but it's nearly ready to go. I am beginning to really hate 3D splines, they eat my life.

In the works are: buckles, cufflinks, more earrings, plugs for larger gauges, and more!

All this is brought to you by DubFX on repeat, and excessive amounts of Travelers 'crack' Masala Chai.

Well done! Looking forward to throwing money at you. Also, heck yes to the crack chai. I'd never get anything done without tea fuel.

I'm curious--why did you decide to enclose the scales, or ridges, on the carapace ring for the final? I rather like this open structure. (Not that I would buy it--I love to look at it, but my fingers are really sensitive to any bumps on the sides and bottom of the circlet. ::sniff::)

I liked the open structure too. The reason it ended up the way it did was due to the resolution of the manufacturing process. Since I design pieces on a screen, it sometimes distorts my perspective of scale. The ring is TINY, so all the little features that looked so cool and doable to me with the first iteration ended up being well below the smallest resolution of the 3D printing systems that i use...oops :)

I'm hoping to use the original design for something larger, perhaps a bracelet. I also may eventually figure out a way to open up the manufacturable Carapace Ring so that it looks more like the original design, without being impossible to produce.
