First, an update on all of the new designs available for purchase at http://improbablecog.etsy.com since last time!
Wing Earrings
Created on more or less a creative whim, these have been far and away my most popular product so far!
You may remember this design from my earlier render. I personally wear one daily. Strong and useable, they get a lovely smoothness and light patina after lots of heavy use.
Until the Wings came along, these were the most requested design. They are quite long and slightly heavier at a base gauge of 16g. These come in the usual stainless steel, but also black and white sintered nylon!
This design was finished because of a request for a smaller version of the larger Tendril Earrings. They are truly lilliputian at just over an inch long. As shown in the second image, Shapeways used this earring to test their gold plating process, and i got a chance to see it in person at Maker Faire last month!
A matching pendant that goes with the previous two pairs of earrings.
Originally designed for the fantastic photographer Libby Bulloff, this is my most complex piece yet finished.
Based on the design of the Tentacle Plugs, but now in cufflink form!
Thus concludes my extremely long post of everything currently produced.
Next to come is new items for sale that have not yet been seen in the real, including jewelry created to support the Seattle based maker space Jigsaw Renaissance.
